Tortelli Carnival of Petronilla

There are no recipes related to every family, even in families "salted", where you definitely prefer a slice of salami, a slice of cake!

Ingredients (for three people).

  • 200 cc. of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Grated zest of one lemon
  • A good pinch of baking soda
  • A knob of butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • Abundant corn oil or lard for frying
  • Sugar for sprinkling

Preparation.

Pour into a saucepan the milk, butter, salt and baking soda.

Put the fire just before boiling throw the flour (with the aid of a sieve to prevent lumps), stir vigorously until you get a shiny and made uniform, allow to cool.

Mix one egg at a time, and lemon zest.

Let the mixture rest for an hour, covered with a cloth.

Make balls of 2 cm. in diameter and fry in plenty of oil or lard, drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with granulated sugar (the normal one, not the Zephyr is finer).
